Description: Expression of BIC is regulated by the BcR signaling pathway in a PKC and NF-kB-dependent manner. Classical Burkitt lymphoma cell lines, in contrast to normal B cells, Hodgkin's lymphoma cell lines and HEK293 cells, are not able to process BIC to mature miR-155.This indicates two levels of regulation of mature miR-155 expression, one at the transcriptional and one at the processing level. |
