Description: miR-223 is a direct transcriptional target of AML1/ETO which induces heterochromatic silencing of miR-223.The relevance of the miR-223 silencing is also highlighted by the consequences of its ectopic expression that alone is sufficient to reprogram the myeloid differentiation program in distinct myeloid leukemia subtypes. |
